INTERNATIONAL FORUM: The WHO/HBSC Forum 2007, the second of the WHO/HBSC Forum Series, was dedicated to the theme of “Social Cohesion for Mental Well-being among Adolescents” and was held in Viareggio (Italy) on 5-6 October 2007. The aim of the Forum was to share experiences on promoting mental well-being, policies and interventions from throughout the whole WHO European Region. GIORNATA ITALIANA/THE ITALIAN DAY: As in the previous year, the WHO/HBSC Forum was preceded by the Italian Day (4th October). The aim of the 2007 event was to compare experiences and exchange information on the integrated actions to promote the well-being of adolescents among the Italian Regions. It was also discussed how to involve young people as essential protagonists in the promotion of their own mental well-being.
